The Khan Academy is an organization on a mission. This not-for-profit has the goal of changing education for the better by providing a free world-class education to anyone anywhere. I’ve never seen anything quite like it!
You’ll find video and exercises on an incredible range of topics as diverse as Intro to Calculus, The Causes of World War 1, The Science of Light and the Economics of Recession. Each is explained clearly and concisely by a gifted educator. It’s like having the best teacher on the planet accessable on your tablet, phone or PC.
All of the site’s resources are available to anyone. It doesn’t matter if you are a student, teacher, home-schooler, principal, adult returning to the classroom after 20 years, or a friendly alien just trying to get a leg up in earthly biology. The Khan Academy’s materials and resources are available to you completely free of charge, around the planet.
